Visited San Francisco recently to check out one of our jewels right by Union Square Taj Campton Place and try the delicious new menu created by Chef Thomas.
The new menu was not only delicious, but the presentation was out of this world, an art piece in every plate with home-cooking flavors. It was delightful, and we all enjoyed it very much.
The location of Taj Campton Place is simply phenomenal, right in the heart of the bustling Union Square. I know many things are said about the city, and many stores are closed. Still, we walked around it, felt safe, and enjoyed amazing Italian food in North Beach.
The weather was mild. I walked all the way to the famous Lombard Street through the hills of SFO, enjoying amazing views while we had an amazing workout, then jumped in on a quick Uber and traveled to the picturesque Painted Ladies of San Francisco; you'll find the most famous set across the street from Alamo Square Park along Steiner Street. You will also hear them called the Seven Sisters or Postcard Row, but there are other places you will find them.
Other top spots include streets around the Alamo Square District, the Haight-Ashbury, the Castro, Pacific Heights, and the Lower Haight.
We had a great walk through the park, took some amazing pictures, and went to Hayes Valley, where you find delicious coffee and chocolates at Christopher Elbow; they have an amazing collection of gourmet chocolates and truffles. A must in SFO.
