My journey to Africa this summer was another amazing experience. As I always say, Africa changes you and brings out the very best in you.

We landed in Johannesburg and spent two nights at the beautiful and renovated SAXON Hotel. Saxon Hotel provided an amazing experience, and as the first stop in Africa, it introduced us to the culture in an amazing way. A city tour is a must.
Jabulani is an elephant rehab center where we were able to visit the elephants, feed them, and meet Jabulani, the famous elephant and the first one to be rehabbed. As we all know, the elephant is the King of the jungle, and Jabulani is the King of the elephants.

We spent three nights at Cheetah Plains, enjoying luxury accommodations and service and experiencing the bush differently. Cheeta Plain is a group of three compounds; each of the compounds has 4 bedrooms with a central home for gathering friends and family. You have your own chef, house manager, two spa therapists at your disposal during your stay, a sommelier, and a range to go on safaris whenever you want. The property is 100% electronic and eco-friendly. This is a perfect place for a family or friends traveling to others as the compound is all for you, and you never mix with anyone else.

River Lodge Victoria Falls (Private Island): These tree houses are so well appointed, and the location is perfect, with gorgeous views of the Zambezi River. Their food and service are outstanding. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and always ready to take us on a boat ride. This is an amazing place to unwind, relax, and observe wildlife in a very different way.

After three spectacular nights, we flew to Cape Town and stayed at the incomparable SILO Hotel; what a unique property this is with a great location and views of the city; their rooftop and pool offer great drinks and food and more great views of Cape Town.

La Residence in Franschhoek was an incredible experience of comfort and luxury. Their generous service and accommodations made us feel so welcome. This property is from the Royal Portfolio and has Liz Biden's touch all over the hotel and private residences. It is great for families, honeymoon couples, weddings, and wine tasting.
At the end of the trip, we stayed at the One & Only.

The hotel is stunning; their rooms have a generous space with great balconies and a view of Table Mountain. It is within walking distance of the best shops and restaurants in town, its bar is gorgeous, and its private residences are large and perfect for families.
